Owned by the Scottish Government, Glasgow Prestwick Airport directly employs circa 350 people and supports over 4,000 jobs across the aerospace cluster. Situated in the heart of Scotland’s aerospace industry we offer a diverse range of in-house aviation services providing vital connections to the rest of the world.
This is a full-time permanent position, working 40 hours per week, reporting directly to the Head of E-Commerce.
As our E-Commerce Warehouse Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy e-commerce distribution centre. You’ll be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment, managing a team of warehouse operatives, and maintaining high standards in productivity, safety, and inventory control. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver outstanding service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organise the teams through leadership and co-ordination to ensure flight and trucks schedules are adhered to as much as possible.
- Organise resources in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
- Control flow of all E-Commerce traffic to ensure a smooth transition from arrival to final mile provider.
- Day to day communication & co-ordination with the other operational Managers, highlighting priorities and operational requirements.
- Administration of the unit is carried out in an efficient manner, and that appropriate records are kept.
Ideal candidates will be educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience and have knowledge of the Airport industry. Previous experience in the management of a logistics warehouse, in a fast-paced environment and an understanding of key stakeholders within the process for imports and exports is essential.

- Work under own initiative & operate under pressure as this is a standalone role.
- Organise, prioritise and manage time / work effectively.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
